Matt of LH-Images and I collaborated to create a beautiful sunset wedding portrait during Cristina and Alex’s wedding. The wedding venue was Montaluce Winery and Estates in Dahlonega. After the outdoor ceremony we went to explore the vineyard that the winery overlooked and came across an opening as the sun was setting. As we began capturing portraits of Cristina and Alex, the warm glow from the sun seemed as if it was radiating from them as they embraced. This portrait was one of my favorites from their wedding.
After the lakeside ceremony a golf cart would shuttle the wedding guests back to the winery for reception and when it drove by it would kick up a cloud of dust. As the dust cloud formed it would reflect the rays of light that came from the setting sun. The sunlight really looked as if it was exploding from the tree!
Be sure to check back, we will post a gallery of Cristina and Alex’s wedding at Montaluce Winery and Estates in Dahlonega.
