I recently spent a lovely day with Catrina and Sagitmo at their wedding.  A week prior to the wedding I had a chance to scout for a park to do a few wedding portraits and I came up with Milam Park. What caught my attention as a great backdrop for wedding portraits were the tall tree canopies that provided a beautiful diffused light that would flatter Catrina and Sagitmo.

One of the principles of my wedding photography is to have the couple involved in the creation of art. In order to do this, I had Catrina and Sagitmo do a series of actions. This enabled me to not only capture a series of portraits that told a story but most important, I was able to capture each action as a slice of time.

I find that the moment just before or right after the kiss is one of the most passionate. Sagitmo approached Catrina and as they embraced Catrina placed her veil over Sagitmo. From there the kiss happened!

Their own moment before the kiss.
