The post is actually two announcements. First I would like to present a sneak peak of Veronique’s bridal portrait, which I have been very anxious to post. This portrait was one of the very first from our session. We started at 8am at Lillian Webb Park in Norcross and the sky was just beautiful; not even a cloud in the sky! A small touch I am extremely happy about is the sun peaking into the frame from the upper left corner. My picks from the session will be coming next week, so check back or subscribe to get the latest updates by email.
Now for the second announcement. October 1 marks the day that I am no longer an Accenture corporate IT consultant but October 4 now marks the day that I am a full time Atlanta based wedding photographer. After getting my B.S. and M.S. degrees in IT from FSU, I never thought that I would be doing photography as a career. Now thinking about it; when I first started at FSU, I never knew I wanted to do IT because I wanted to be a medical doctor of some sort.
However after graduating and starting my first job out of college, my interest in photography started to grow. It all started with my first HP brand point and shoot camera, then I kept graduating from my cameras because I started to reach their limits. When I finally arrived at DSLRs, that’s when my study of photography really started. I quickly realized that I was spending more time and money on photography than I was with IT related activities. Whether it was reading, practicing, equipment, experimenting or studying; I always felt that I was growing both as a person and as a photographer. Now with the advent of RBromfield Photography, I strongly believe I am following my passion.
I would like to thank you for reading and your support. Please feel to leave any thoughts and I will be sure to respond.
Sincerely,
Robert C. Bromfield

Beautiful pics Robert!! Wishing you blessings as you embark on this new career path. You can do it!
Thanks Shawana. I might be coming your way later this month.
Hey Robert, it’s me again…I was just browsing your site again and I wanted to let you know that I like the new photos that you posted. I was nice speaking with you the other day and even better that you took the time to respond to the comment I left a few weeks ago. I have to say that you carry yourself very professionally, which is very refreshing. A lot of photographers that I have come in contact with recently seem to only be concerned with the photo and not making a connection with their clients. With you, it seems like ensuring that the your client enjoys the photo session is just as important as the photos that you produce. Hopefully my company approves my recommendation to hire for our upcoming event. Till then, best of luck!
Adrian,

Nice shot Robert. I love the layout, the bride looks elegant against the backdrop of the fountain and the valley behind her. A lot of people are not aware of the amount of effort it takes to capture that perfect moment, you make it look easy. Keep up the good work.
Collin,
Thanks for the compliment. Check back tomorrow, our picks from this bridal session will be up.
