I would love to present a sneak peak of Taya’s bridal session at the Atlanta History Center, the Swan House. Before our session, we scouted out the Swan House and one of the areas that really drew my attention was the courtyard. The courtyard had an interesting stone eagle that glowed in the evening sun and I knew that would be a great background.
For this portrait, we decided that it would be best to lay Taya’s veil across the bench and let it flow off the edge. Now if you look closely at the veil, you can see the light hitting the crystals. It wasn’t until I was reviewing the portrait that I noticed the cracks in the wall; not only are the cracks interesting but they add a certain character.
During our session, Taya was all smiles and she was really rocking her wedding dress as you can definitely see here!

Wow, this is a very beautiful photo. Taya looks amazing in this photo. You did a great job of capturing the background too…I’m really blown away by this photo. I remember you telling me that you were doing a bridal session at the Swan House but I didn’t know that it would turn out this good. Great job!
Roger,
This was one of our favorites from the session. We took a test shot at first and when I saw the result, I knew we had to make it into a real shot!
Absolutely stunning! Amazing backgound. Taya smile is just right, not too much and not to little! Great work Robert!
Taya’s smile really warms up the portrait.
Wow, Robert! The bride looks beautiful, the scenery is extraordinary and I like how the cracks on the wall stand out. Great lighting effect.
Bayo,
Thanks, we put a lot off light on her to make her pop from the background!
The place was the perfect choice. It really complemented the bride.
Awesome job Robert, Taya looks stunning….i love the stint with the veil….very creative
