According to the weather report, the next few days would be rainy. Anite and I decided that it would be best to get the portraits taken before the downpour, so we headed to the Jackson St. overpass. From the Jackson St. overpass you can see I-85 and I-75 leading up to Atlanta and to top it off, the sun would be going behind the buildings soon. We shot into the sun, while trying to overpower the strong sunlight my speedlight was at max power. Soon I heard the “beep beep” from the flash warning that it went into thermal protection mode. I wasn’t surprised, since it was 90+ Fahrenheit and I was doing full power blast after full power blast.
After the sun had gone behind the buildings and the storm clouds started to roll in, we finished off with this portrait.
As soon as we packed up, then it started to pour!
