March was quite a rainy month and I was beginning to wonder if it would rain on the day of Catrina and Sagitmo’s wedding. Fortunately the weekend turned out to be sunny.

We started off at First Mount Pleasant Baptist Church for the ceremony. Within the sanctuary Catrina and Sagitmo’s family and friends were gathered in excitement to see Catrina and Sagitmo at the altar. It’s easy to stress when the ceremony is running late but when Catrina walked down the aisle none of that matters anymore. I had to pause for second just to take everything in, this was an emotional moment for everyone.

One of moments that I captured from the ceremony that I believe really exemplifies their love for each other, was the moment just before Sagitmo kissed his bride!

After the ceremony but before the reception we had a chance visit Milam Park for some wedding portraits. In a previous post I highlighted what went into creating their wedding portraits. I really felt the black & white processing really brought out a certain character within the portraits.
