Atlanta Bridal Session: Taya – The Swan House

Atlanta Swan House Wedding Bridal Session 1

The beautiful bride in our Swan House bridal session is Taya; this was our first of two sessions that we rocked. We were going for a classy look for Taya’s bridal portraits and the Swan House was the perfect backdrop for this. We started the session at the bottom of the stairs and fountain that lead to the main entrance of the house. This gave us a great view to take in the entire mansion and it’s grand fountain. Of course we started our session during the best time of the day, near sunset for the best light.

As we warmed up and got comfortable, it was obvious that the Swan House was an ideal location for a bridal session. The Swan House has so much to offer; whether it was the courtyard with it’s fountains, the balcony, the foliage, or the architecture. It all came together perfectly!

Taya had a full length veil, with crystals that sparkled when the light hit them. Now with such a long veil we knew we could doing some amazing portraits that showed it off! With the sun coming from the right, this gave the veil such a warm glow to it as it rested on the vines.

We decided to move to the courtyard with it’s huge tree canopy, fountains and the eagle by the bench that I had eyed on my previous scout of the Swan House. But…….we just had to show off that veil one more time! This bridal portrait just drew me in with how Taya’s veil flows towards you!

To add some more pop, we held Taya’s veil up to catch the sunlight and also fired a flash into the veil to add some depth.

Hey Robert. Very, very nice work on this bridal session. Those photos are amazing. I bet that she’s going to love these photos. Hey by the way, I had these photos up at work and two women walked by and were blown away by them. They said that they were absolutely wonderful!!! Of course they said it out loud and that drew a small crowd around my desk. Everyone that came up said that they though the photos looked great.
